Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Auto-flight system design engineer (f/m) to join our Flight Control & Guidance Systems team based in Toulouse, France. You will join a group of around 20 people within a dedicated programme team of 5 to 10 members. The Auto Flight System group is responsible for all Airbus aircraft and contributes to innovative projects paving the way toward Autonomous Flight. Your challenges : <ul><li>contribute to the functional and operational specifications evolutions of the 'Auto Flight System', </li><li>contribute to trade-offs and decisions at programme level to ensure design improvements and shape the Auto Flight System of our aircraft, </li><li>design those evolutions through high level and detailed specifications, </li><li>define the interfaces with the related systems / functions such as Flight Management / Navigation / Radionavigation / Surveillance / Display / Warnings, etc., </li><li>contribute to manage the internal or external suppliers coding your specification, </li><li>contribute to Safety, Verification and Validation activities in close collaboration with specialists, </li><li>contribution to prepare the Certification dossier to be provided to Airworthiness Authorities </li></ul> Your boardig pass : <ul><li>Real-Time Embedded System Engineering background with experience in Requirement-Based or Model-Based System Engineering </li><li>Flight operations with associated systems knowledge will be a plus </li><li>Formal specification tools and languages (e.g. SCADE) would be a strong asset </li><li>Team player, fast learner and autonomous. Able to pay close attention to detail while also seeing the ‘bigger picture’ </li><li>Ability to interface with many different stakeholders, from different domains, functions, and cultures </li><li>Negotiation level in English; conversational French will be a plus </li></ul> Not a 100% match ?
