Descriptif missionThe Software Platform Senior Engineer / Lead Engineer, will be responsible for supporting a strong team of engineers working on hi-tech embedded applicative software in a provided project perimeter. You will be part of Software Engineering Department which has multidisciplinary teams across multiple Safran sites working together to provide innovative, future products of high technological value in aeronautical, land and maritime industries. You will work in close collaboration with the Reseach&Development headquarters of Safran Electronics and Defense in France. In the short term, you will join a task force dedicated to Low Level Testing. You will have the responsibility of the Low Level Testing activities, by supporting your team directly. In this context you will be reporting directly to the Technical Manager and operationally to the Tech Lead. Working with others, you shall responsible for: - ensuring the highest level of quality for Team deliverables in compliance with DO-178C; - providing help to the Team software engineers when stuck; - handling the more complex pieces of software via Architecture/Integration/Development; - challenge choices from the Management from a Technical standpoint by raising awareness on technical risks on challenging topics; - train upcoming new engineers with knowledge learned from the Technical Management.
