Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an experienced structure repair engineer (f/m) to join our team based in Toulouse, France. Our design office is accountable to deliver repair solutions to the Airbus operators for all the fleet (A300/A320/A330/A350/A380), on nose and center fuselage. Your challenges: <ul><li> To analyse damage reports and design relevant repair solutions in a multinational and multiskills environment. </li><li> Ensuring the A/C safety and airworthiness reporting all unsafe condition, </li><li> Delivering repair instructions in accordance with the relevant certification/airworthiness requirements and Airbus process and methods. </li><li> Coordinating proposed repair solution at A/C physical interfaces with other engineering actors and considering the implications of Airworthiness regulations, Materials and Processes, Aerodynamic effects and any other function as required, </li><li> Delivering generic solutions to be used internally or for Customer Services for damages/requests that can be anticipated, </li><li> Promoting and supporting continuous improvement and innovations initiatives of the Daily Repairs organisation through selected projects, providing added value to the A/C operator. </li></ul> Your boarding pass: We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: <ul><li> Educated to an Engineering Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in an engineering environment, </li></ul><ul><li> Experience in aircraft structures Design, Methods & Principles is mandatory (knowledge of Fuselage structures ATA 52/53/57-1), </li><li> Understanding of Stress and Airworthiness requirements when designing aircraft structure, </li><li> Knowledge of Customer Operations, product Integrity / Liability and maintenance operation would be appreciated, </li><li> Knowledge of the following tools: ISAMI and associated methods, and of the following manuals: SRM, ASR, NTM, MPD </li><li> Ability to translate customer requirements into operational deliverables and to prioritise, </li><li> Ability to perform in a high pressure reactive environment and to quickly make decisions, </li><li> Ability to interface with others and discuss technical matters clearly and simply, </li><li> Good communication skills in both English and French: ease at interacting in a multifunctional environment </li></ul> A training path at your arrival will be set to ensure your integration and your familiarisation with the environment.
