<b><b>Job Description:</b></b> <br><br> Digital is transforming and evolving but, we need even more talented people who can make a real difference to how we support, enable and deliver a diverse range of technological solutions and services to our customers. <br> We are seeking a solution architect for our products for Systems engineering in a challenging, dynamic and high paced environment with a strong focus on security requirements (national data sensitivity / Export Controlled data) where expert level skills are key to success. <br> You will be joining a team that offers Engineering Solutions to all branches of Airbus Defence and Space (TDBE) - Mechanical Design, Scientific Computing, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering and Product Data Management. <br> As part of the Systems engineering solutions team, you will be the design authority driving Systems engineering product evolutions. You will manage the necessary balance between product specificities, operational constraints, technological changes and strategic developments in the information systems. <br><br> ABOUT YOU <br> • Educated to a bachelor level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related discipline <br> • Experience with Digital related projects and their specific challenges <br> • Experience with project management of large projects <br> • Experience and significant background on complex IT environments with knowledge of cybersecurity solutions <br> • Language Skills: English at negotiation level - German, French and/or Spanish is a plus <br><br> YOUR MISSION: <br> • Develops an in-depth knowledge of the implemented solution (including infrastructure/security environment). <br> • Collaborates with other Architects (Solution, Domain, Enterprise, Security), Systems Analysts, Developers and Technical specialists (internal & Partners) to deliver the highest quality solutions via cutting edge technologies. <br> • Acts as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future evolutions of all the components of the Product & Service. <br> • Defines models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions. <br> • Participates in all phases of the application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support. <br> • Aligns architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long- term strategic planning for the organization's Information systems. <br> • Performs the technical/functional design of the application and infrastructure components of a new solution according to the defined functional design. <br> • Validates product designs and ensures solution consistency across IT products (impact analysis). <br> • Supervises technical integration and deployment within the product team and with other teams (application and infrastructure). <br> • Provides support to operations team in case of critical issue (lead crisis team if needed). <br><br> MAIN TYPES OF DELIVERABLES: <br> • Architectural Dossier (ARD) <br> • Decision Dossier <br> • Technical part of the product/service roadmap <br> • High-Level specification of new features/enablers <br> • Problem solving report <br><br>Examples of topics that you will be tracking are likely to include: <br> • Cameo, DOORS, Jazz, Reqtify, RQA architecture study (new release or new features). <br> • Usage of new transverse infrastructure services (hosting, IAM, network, security, etc.). <br> • Impact assessment of digital transverse programs (i.e. 1Architecture, OneIS, CALYPSO/GEGI/UKGI/SPGI ..., etc.) and business transformation (such as ACE, DDMS, ERP Roadmap). <br> • Performance continuous improvement (approach, methodology and tools). <br> • SecDevOps concepts/tools implementation. <br> • Cloud approach: On-Premise, Private or Public SaaS. <br> • Obsolescence management: Ensure the correct solution update to be compliant with security and maintenance rules. <br> • Technical representation and relationship with Airbus Commercial Aircraft and Airbus Helicopter. <br><br>STATEMENT: This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities. <br><br>This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.<br><br><b><b><b><b>Company:</b></b></b></b> <br>Airbus Defence and Space SAS<br><br><b>Employment Type:</b><br>Permanent<br>-------<br>Classe Emploi (France): Classe G13<br><br><b>Experience Level:</b><br>Professional<br><br><b>Job Family:</b><br>Digital <br><br>By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
